Burners have 3 parts which must be re-assembled exactly for burner to operate properly. If you arengetting poor ignition or an uneven flame, then check the assembly. A good flame is mostly blue. Therenare 3 sizes of dark gray “burner caps” and “burner heads” (when removed, burner heads look like flyingnsaucers from the side- the holes are burner ports which must always be kept clean of food andncleaners). Burner caps sit snugly over burner heads. Note that the burner heads have two tabs thatnmust sit in the notches of the “burner base.” Knobs pull straight up to clean underneath, “do not soak innwater.” When remounting; be sure they are in the “off” positionnIMORTANT NOTE: Do not use abrasive soap or pads on a stainless steel surface or you will scratch thenfinish. Do not use oven cleaner. Do clean surface and control panels with liquid detergent and a softncloth. Stainless steel cleaner can obviously be used on stainless steel surfaces to make ‘em shine.nRange top hood fan is located on bottom of microwave. There are two grease filters that should bencleaned monthly with liquid detergent. Occasionally, the fan will turn on and off by itself while you arencooking on the range. It does this to keep the range heat from damaging the microwave.nCooking Fires: A common cause of residential fires is cooking. If you have a fire on your stove,nDO NOT MOVE A BURNING PAN. This can spread fire or cause serious grease burns. Turn off the burnernand cover the pan with a tight fitting lid (not a cloth or something else flammable). Leave the lid in placenfor at least 30-minutes until the pan has cooled or it will re-ignite. Call 9-1-1 if this is not effective.
